Cell editor with RowSelect

Hello,

 
Is there a way to be able to edit cells while having the RowSelect option enabled?
 
The desired behavoir is to be able to edit a cell by pressing F2 or double click while having full RowSelect option enabled. Eventually switching between RowSelect enabled/disbaled modes at entering in-place editor and at exit?
 
Please advise.

Sorry, this is unfortunately mutually exclusive. Cell editing requires that one cell is selected that goes into edit mode and this is contradicting with row selection where the entire row is selected.
