There is a way to count how many "Beginupdate" are activated for a component ? (in order to know how may EndUpdate remains to implement)

It is a lot of work to do this for the hundreds of components we have.
Is there a particular requirement for this?
Just to control if I uses the same number of Begin and endupdate to how my grid is frozen.

I'd do it the "old-fashioned" way by tracking hes begin/endupdate
