I am using the ADVSmoothDialogBox in an application. It works fine. This application is also used in a third party wrapper called Thinfinity which essentially makes any Delphi app accessible through a web browser.. When it is run through the Thinfinity shell , when the ADVSmoothDialog is executed, the dialog box does not appear unless you hover your mouse over the box. I recognize the component works as designed and I have no issue with it, but if someone else has a simple idea to refresh the view I would appreciate input.
I do not know how thinfinity works and why it has a problem with TAdvSmoothDialogBox. Did you check with the author of thinfinity?
I did initially and they said to check with you. 
Its fine, I was just hoping that someone might have run into the issue.
