Just downloaded the demo for the VCL string grid component.
When I start Delphi it complains... asgdxe2.bpl can't be installed because it was created with different version of Delphi.
I am using Delphi XE2 Update 3.
Please advise.
It is unclear what is causing this. I cannot see a reason why Delphi XE2 would not want to load a .BPL file it compiled itself. Can you
1) search your full hard disk for ALL asgdxe2.* files and delete ALL files
2) recompile the asgdxe2.DPROJ package from the IDE
3) verify the timestamp of asgdxe2.bpl is effectively the compilation timestamp
4) add the .BPL file via the IDE menu Component, Install packages
