Bug ? TAdvMultiColumnDropDown

Hi Bruno,

I am using the same control version 1.1.1.4 in TMS Pack 5.9.0.2. and I get similar problems. Additional rows are added and the column header disappear. I did the following when using the component.

Add the component to a blank form.
Added 2 columns (Operator, Description)
Added 3 items  = Equal, > Greater Than, < Less Than
Run the program and click on the dropdown button once.
Do not select anything with your mouse. Now anywhere on the form.
Now click on the dropdown button again and you should see the problem.

I am using Delphi 2009 on Vista.

Thanks for providing these details. It helped us trace & solve the problem. I can confirm this will be fixed in the next update.

Hi Bruno,

Has this been fixed in the latest release of Component pack?

Thanks.

Yes, I have retested this here and this works fine with the latest version of the TMS Component Pack.

Hi Bruno,

I have just tested TMS Component Pack 6.0.0 on Delphi 2009 on Vista. The component TAdvMultiColumnDropDown is still behaving the same way.  In the Object Inspector, it is still at version 1.1.1.4 and the source pas file is still dated June 19th, 2010. I installed the Component Pack via TMS Subscription Manager.
Thanks for reporting, you're correct about this issue and we can confirm that in the next update of the TMS Component Pack this issue will be addressed.

FYI, next release date is Mar 19, 2011.

Hi,

I have just downloaded and tested TMS Component Pack 6.0.1.0 and this still remains unresolved. I noted that the source file is still dated in 19th June 2010.

As we couldn't reproduce the problem here, it appeared to be an issue with the TMS Component Pack build process. This has now been fixed. Normally, on Mar 26, we'll release an update that will address this.
