The following image represents how an indicator normally looks.
However, if there is an indicator(s) on the timeline that is set to visible = false and the annotation overlaps with a visible annotation, the annotation set to visible = false still consumes space on the timeline even though it is not visible and the visible annotation does not collapse to fill in the empty space as shown in the below image.
